Air Museum
The old air museum
Our team of paranormal investigators visited the old air museum in Washington (Sunderland) with our medium Dave. Deb took temperature readings to compare during the night. Keith who works at the museum went around with Deb and gave her a little history of the paranormal activity that has took place e.g. Small stone on the wings of the aircrafts they check every night to make sure that these are removed.
As we approached hanger 3 Dave picked up the name of Derek Appleyard which Keith confirmed as to having some link with the museum. On entering the hanger a few of the team felt as if they were being watched, over near the hanger door Dave picked up three names. Susan and Alan who were young lovers who used to meet in secret and Harry Johnson.
With Harry he got the word armatage. As we walked passed some fantastic aircrafts Dave stopped at a piece of plane wreckage and said Armatage. It went down in marshy lands and that their was ranks and ranks of men. Keith then told us that it was the plane and it went down in kielder. Deb and Keith went to check the wings of the air crafts and found a small black stone sitting on the wing of a 8-mc aircraft it moved a few times during the night but the last time we checked the stone was now white.
10:00pm Dave got the name Harry Cudsworth in the restoring room. A Lancashire man in a blue oily boiler suit laughing a bit of a joker who had a big disappointment at the end of his life, possibly a bereavement that his wife passed before him. This mans name also came up outside hanger 3, Deb picked up high EMF readings on the outer perimeter of hanger 3.
Hanger 1
Dave got old fashioned leather flying gear, he said that this man is not happy with our presence, a pilot, a young man in his early twenties who is very shy spoken in a quiet voice, posh accent feeling scared. We asked Dave if he had been drafted. His reply was no, it was his duty but he was scared, he was not publicly schooled, his father was possibly a doctor. He wears 1940 flying gear goggles on his forehead with white fleece on his jacket. He liked bird watching and playing the piano, he was a very lovely man and wanted to live up to his parents expectations but hated every time he had to go up there. His name possibly timothy and he would be very happy if we would leave him. He would like to move on.
Hanger 2
Excitement and victory. Those were the feelings Dave got, Deb’s EMF meter started to go crazy over the engine of an old German bomber
12:00 We all put our hand on an old aircraft and asked the spirits if they could move it to which they happily complied deb then went back to the old engine to find that the meter reading had calm down, we all left the hanger to go outside and Jill picked up activity out side hanger 2 with the rods. Roman graves every four steps she took, the rods went all over.
Hanger 3
1:00 We were all sitting in a circle in the middle of the aircrafts. Archibald Thomas, a straight up and down man who carried a cane under his arm, was a sergeant in charge of wafs and would like to say old chap quite often was picked up on.Wwe also heard a lot of foot steps walking all around us with small clatters, myself, Claire, Alan, Jill, Debbie, Emma and Deb all heard a lot of banging in the circle but when went to the end of the hanger to do a séance after a few questions we all jumped as a very loud bang came from the side of us.
As we walked to leave we went through a room full of different artefacts and models and their were two big model aircrafts hanging from the ceiling. The funny thing was that they were both rotating in different directions, which we found quite strange as no one could find a draught coming from anywhere. Myself and Alan found this quite amusing. Dave also got the name of Charles Murryweather, a man with an injury to one of his limbs which went septic within two to three weeks and had to have it amputated. Charles flew a hurricane.
Back in the restoration room Keith got Deb’s EMF meter and took it too an old display case were it went mad, myself, Deb and Debbie watched as he took out an old pair of leather pilot trousers. As we came to a close we went back to hanger 3 to put the chairs back and have a look at these superb aircrafts in day light. Only to find one of the post with the display ropes had been knocked down and a pen I had lost earlier that night had turned up at the exit gates. We had a fantastic night full of activity and would like to thank everyone involved.
